Being fairly new to the game, I didn't know what the point of the team cards when I first started.
Now, I might start collecting them - kinda like trainspotting.
This will keep the cache clean, and gives me another little bonus when finding caches.

Re: Boots vs KT26
I play skirmish, and do some hiking, and I purchased the (current-at the time of writing this) ADF issue boot; Terra's, by Red Back boots. They've lasted me over 2 years of serious punishment and still go strong. They've got drainage holes in the arch to allow water to drain out, should you get your...

I'm actually planning a driving trip from Jimboomba to Miles, to Charleville, to Cunnamulla, to St George, to Warwick, back to Jimboomba - for the same reasons as you're looking for a break. This'll be a bit of a caching road trip with my Dad (who I've managed to form an addiction to caching, too). ...

OMG! That's an epic effort! Well done.
Now all you got to do is sit down and log them all... lol.

Re: Melbourne vs Parramatta
I dunno... the Brisbane Lions didn't make the final this year, which was a shame.
So I'll prolly go for the Eels, as they haven't won a grand final in quite some time.

What a great video!
That's a part of Australia I would love to visit. Problem is I'm far from prepared to venture that far out.
Do tell; what condition was the cache in when you got there?

Re: Do we get double points for visiting last 5 geocaches TWICE?
I've ended up in a spa with my mobile before (don't ask) and, although my phone worked a bit - it was essentially an expensive paperweight.
I even sent it away to get serviced/fixed (cost me about $180!!!) and it was no better upon return.
I'm sorry to say that your phone might be due for replacing.

Re: IN NEED OF HELP GARMIN GPSMAP60CS
Thanks all!
I'll give this a trial tonight.
I guess half my problem is I haven't had a good play with mapsource as Basecamp is so much prettier to work with (and easier for uploading individual waypoints).

Re: IN NEED OF HELP GARMIN GPSMAP60CS
Sorry to Necro an old thread, but I've a similar question... I've a GPSMPA60CSx, and was wondering if there's a way to synchronize it with a PC in such a way to allow easier management of waypoints? Currently, to delete a number of waypoints you've got to select each one individually on the unit, an...
