G'day Goerge The site looks great. 1>I just imported my logs and got a nice bonus in my error. I had no trouble with the import process. A couple duplicate names and a few OS and locationless, but they were dealt with easily by entering the GCxxx code. However, it is reporting that I now have 95 fin...

I'm not sure what's going on here. It's turning into a bit of a silly season. Luckily the Eco-Engagement has given me a temporary repreive, but there sure is a bit of pressure mounting up - maybe the joint acquisition of a new abode has something to do with it as well... Congratulations guys. All th...

I hope you actually have a copy of the Australian basemap before you delete the original US one otherwise you will be left with no map at all and could find it difficult to get one. Check out all the logs on this topic on the Magellan_Meridian Group on Yahoo for more info. You can even pick up a ful...

Well done ClydE. Looks great. Thanks also to Riblit and Swampy for their comments on the slow files when viewed on the Palm. I opened the index file up in Explorer and hit the convert button from there as opposed to using the console - amazing difference. I don't really understand why it would be so...

Hi ClydE Just want to say that GSAK is the most comprehensive app around and I now use it exlusively. There is just one thing that bugs me about the generated html files. I don't know if I'm the only one that experiences this or not, but when I view them on my Palm m515, the processor seems to have ...

Hi ClydE. Thanks for the tip. I downloaded Beta 5 and it fixed the other problem I had. It's getting hard to keep up with these updates! Really appreciate the work you are putting in to it. Great program. Keep it up. It will most likely become standard equipment for all cachers before too long. Phil

I just downloaded the newest update and put it to use. Absolutely fantastic program Clyde. I just have one comment concerning the new conversion to UTM. I am (fairly?) sure that you have got the correct conversion algorithm, but when I try to plot the location (eg BOOMTown) in my Sydway, I am approx...

I use at least 1280 x 1024 on my 17 in screen at work and sometimes up to 1600 x 1200 on the 19 in at home. Anything less it gets way too clunky and you can't fit enough information on the screen for my liking - maybe that's way my eyesight gets worse after a long time at the computer...???

I've tried that a number of times but with no success. And it seems random based on whethter the batteries are low or relatively fresh. I just have to make sure I have my SD card with me whenever I'm in the field just in case.

I have a Magellan Platinum. Very happy with it. Uploaded Aussie basemap and works beautifully. Haven't gone for the street level mapping yet - haven't been able to justify the cost. The only gripe I have with it is that the electronic compass occacionally flips 180 degrees and you can't get it back ...
