Regarding WhereIGo the answer is no. I'm waiting for the Palm Pre to come to Australia, which has received very good reviews from the US. It's OS is also more flexible than Mac. Having said that, cannot go past the iPhone. You're much better getting the latest model (3GS). The processor speed makes...

As a current "Telstra Dealer Employee" the iphone 3G is the only one available in australia. Telstra doesn't discrimiate between 3g and 2g usage but most ly (99%) you will run on the NextG network. If there is Telstra coverage where you;re going, it's a good bet it's 3G. As an Iphone user, the Geoca...

I've always enjoyed a Comdek cache....

If you need any help feel free to get in touch. We'll be more than happy to help with maintenance etc.

TBD is shocked and saddened.

My thoughts on the issue.... I find that the best cache hides are actually emphasised by the proliferation of urban/country micros. There is nothing better then an awesome cache after a string of "sign and go"s. I regularly place caches on my ignore list and it's not hard pick which ones need to be ...

I'd need some help from my fellow cachers.

I ran the WRC macro on GSAK last night and I'll have to drive 2800kms to one cache to complete a 5/5 comp.

Don't think the "boss" will let me use that amount of fuel.

I started off with a lowrance basic gps years ago. Very profesional machine but I thought too big and heavy for caching especially on the long trips.

I now use a Garmin EtrexLegend while walking and a TOMTOM while in the car.

I use and Imate JASJAM with a bluetooth GPS unit and various navigation software. Works with GPXSONAR, GPSDASH, TOMTOM and a few other lesser knowns.

Works well except that it is not all in one but I find that sometimes a blessing.
