Re: Someone - please look after my SA caches
Having moved to Queensland 2 years ago and with no short term plans of return, I need someone to take responsibility for my caches as they are slowly but surely becoming defunct. Unfortunately I am also caching less due to other more equine interests. Please email me if you are willing to look afte...

Re: I thought geocachers were strange
Oh no, here I was thinking that I would slip into obscurity. I did get a surprise during the day when abcnewsSA tweeted the story (I follow them) and I also use the ABC iPhone app (best one I have found for good all round coverage of the news btw) and when I was reading the news in bed last n...

Google maps and GCA usage
Late last year, google announced that soon they will start charging by the use of their google maps ($4/1000 views) above a certain level (25,000 views/day) of usage.
Does this affect Geocaching Australia and it's usage of google maps?

Re: My cache got muggled. Woe is me.
None of the ones I am proud of have disappeared The one I put the most effort into (took me 6 months to put all the elements in place), spent the most money on a special container ($18) and was the most proud of and received brilliant reviews was muggled, including the invisible magnet that you had...

Re: The other kind of 'find'.
What honest chappies you are. If no one collects it do you become the owners? In SA you do if it isn't claimed from the police after 3? months. My son found a remote-control racing dragster once and we handed to the police and when it remained unclaimed he got a phone call from the police to come a...
