Re: BIG Little Geocaching Event

If this isn't a MEGA event, and I'm staying off site, why do I have to pay $65? What am I getting for my money? Where does my money go? :?

Re: NZ Attendees...global roaming

I found pre-paid iPad SIM cards VERY expensive in relation to Australian prices. Free wireless in major cities is like it was here in Australia about 5 years ago... scarce.

That's unfortunate. :? It's your choice.

If it aids in longevity, I'm all for it. Especially around the CBD.

I've been writing the GA numbers underneath them. I'm hoping someone comes and grabs them all in Williamstown - I think they are still in the wrong order! \:D/

Re: Frog Blindness Support Group

I'm having trouble telling them apart! It seems that most people got their frogs from the same sort of place and after a big frog hunt, I had a few sets of twins in the boot! ](*,) I had to check all the GA numbers twice before hiding them, and I still mucked it all up :stabby :stabby

Re: Australian Power Trails

Is it a 'Power Trail' or a long series of caches? I have done 3 in the past month... Woodlands on Sunday 101 Dalmations in NZ and 52 Cache Pick Up in NZ None of these cache series are like ET (from what I can gather from YouTube clips). In each of them (more so the ones in NZ) you have to park, get ...

Re: DNFs Logged vs. Actual DNFs

I use option b. If I see a bunch of DNF's I don't attempt it. +1 If the cache page indicates that it's a relatively simple hide (ie mint tin under a bench or sistema under a tree) and there are 3 or 4 DNFs within the last few weeks, I won't bother searching. On the other hand, if the cache page ind...

Re: Moving Cache Race 2011 / 2012 - Theme Poll

I didn't like the idea of frogs to begin with... but the more ideas we get from the community, the more I think it could be a fun idea.

How about some floating frogs in ponds? Could be fun in the summer!
