Re: My GCA emails are going to junk mail

And, then, somehow by magic, at 7am yesterday all my GCA emails decided to start arriving in my inbox again! The only vaguely related thing that happened beforehand was that my iPad made me re-enter my email password. However, I had still been receiving emails in my inbox - just not from GCA - and t...

Re: My GCA emails are going to junk mail

Telstra is also our ISP. Thanks for the work around info, but I think it is beyond our skill set! And, I should have replied sooner, sorry, but I do appreciate the responses.

My GCA emails are going to junk mail

Earlier this year, all my daily updates and other emails from GCA (eg new cache notifications) started going to junk mail - although for years they have reliably arrived in my Inbox. I have a hotmail account. I have gone into hotmail settings and listed the domain geocaching.com.au as a safe sender,...

Re: Online Record Attempt Here - 27 Sep 2017

Hello from Tassie, Hope our Internet connection holds. Telstra has promised us NBN tomorrow, but we are not getting too excited about connecting to the node that has been in our street, but unavailable, for months and months!

Re: Report Site Issues Here

Thanks Whitewebbs, I didn't have reverse caches ticked (do now), so that would be why I didn't see your most recent cache published and I only ticked puzzles in the last few days. Not sure about why I haven't had notifications for others - maybe there just haven't been any for the range I have set. ...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

Our hotmail account is getting daily emails and moved cache alerts, but we haven't had a new cache notification for ages. Maybe we have inadvertently changed something, but I can't find what - aargh! Any suggestions (or remedies for our stupidity) would be welcome . . .

Re: QR code dinosaurs for National Science Week

If you would like to see some more of the photos that have been taken of virtual dinosaurs in Hobart, have a look at the logs for the 9 Tasmanian virtual dinosaur caches that have been created. Just look at the Tasmanian GCA caches that have names starting with 'Virtual' and a dinosaur name after th...

QR code dinosaurs for National Science Week

Some of you might be interested in the virtual dinosaurs that are around for National Science Week - see http://www.scienceweek.gov.au/National/JurassicScienceWeek/Pages/default.aspx They are not geocaches and not munzees, but an interesting idea (at least I thought so!).
