I think that's to do with yahoo selling del.icio.us off to Avos systems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delicious_ ... 29#History). Maybe after the transfer is complete the firefox extension will be updated.

Re: Garmin Adds Multicache Support in Latest Beta

that looks great - hope they implement it for the Nuvi 500.

Was doing a few multi's last weekend, and was quite annoyed with the way you need to flip between 'go to coordinate' and back to 'go to geocache' so that you can read the cache description.

Re: Garmin Nuvi 500 GPS

If you already have an in car GPS that you're happy with, I don't think I'd recommend the Nuvi 500 - got for a proper hand held GPS. Not only for it being tougher when you're out and about and easier to hold, but because the same price as a Nuvi you should be able to get a unit with a built in elect...

Re: Garmin Nuvi 500 GPS

Hey Sapphire, Yep, that's our new caching device. Here's some quick pros/cons. Pro: Does driving really well. With the latest updates you get road names read out to you and the directions are fine (with all the normal caveats for gps navigation). The interface/touch screen is very easy to navigate. ...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

Hey Guys,

I'm having trouble with the drop down menus up the top on the front page in Firefox 3.6.8 on OSX Snow Leopard. When they drop down they 'flicker' so that I can't select the menu entries. No problems with Safari 5.0.1 on the same machine. I don't think I had this problem yesterday.

Getting a Garmin Nuvi 500 outdoors

I've recently bought a Garmin Nuvi 500 to improve our geocaching experience. We're finding it a fairly good machine - easy to use for paperless caching and a fairly sensitive receiver (and good in the car as well). However, as is widely known, it's not the nicest thing to hold in your hand whilst yo...

Re: Printout of GA Cache Descriptions

Thanks from me too!

Did my first two GCA caches this week (haven't logged them yet as I haven't got the photos off my camera yet), and even though I'm not as techno-phobe as blossom, I'm still using paper until I get fed up with that and cough up the money for a pro account at GC.com.

GeoCaching T-Shirt

Not the one's you normally see advertised, but I just bought this one here.

(h/t to my mates blog, please take the post title with a pinch of salt and dash of humour.)

Re: Geocaching Live Software

I tried it out a few months back, but couldn't work out a way to manually enter waypoints, or to get it to download the details of a specific cache (by enter the GCxxxx code). Has anyone worked out how to do that kind of thing?

Re: Geocache Navigator gone...now what?

I find the builtin navigation stuff on my Nokia N95 (and also on my wifes N81) works good enough. Gets us close to GZ, then it's up to our eyes. However, if you've got a pro account on GC (or only search for GCA caches) SmartGPX is a nifty program for paperless caching, and can be used to show cache...

Re: Bookmarks retrieval

Yep, shouldn't be too hard. Open up Windows Explorer. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR USER NAME>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<SOMETHING>.default\ the file bookmarks.html is what you want. Copy that file to another location (My Documents or Desktop) and you should be able to impor...

Re: Where are we all from??? (introduce yourself) parts 1&2

Been really enjoying caching since about the middle of the year, when I happened to get a phone with builtin GPS (Nokia N95). Since then my wife, child, and I have enjoyed getting out most fine weekends to have a hunt around. Only 10 finds to our name as yet, but that just means that there's plenty ...

Re: need help with geo caching navigator for the n95 8gb

What kind of internet connection are you using?

There seems to be some problem with using GN on Virgin Phones http://www.geocachenavigator.com/Forums ... fault.aspx (I have this problem). If you use your phone's wifi connection, do you get the same problem?
