PS Dyslexics of the world UNTIE!
There's nothing waiting so either you can't spell your forum name or the request disappeared into next week

The stars should be up to date now, provided cachers know how to spell their forum names.

On the subject of wasting Stargiver's time. Multiple requests for the same star count are one way that appears to be gaining popularity, as is requesting a star for a cache count of 4.

.... Sending a request to Stargiver for an acheivement of 1,150 seems to be a bit of a waste of Stargivers time.
Thats why the text reads <number> or more...
It just doesn't mention how many more

stars have been updated for those that know their forum name and have less than 3050 finds. Those with more than 3050, the text does have "or more" included.

The stars should be up to date with a couple of exceptions. One team has found more caches than we have stars and some other cachers don't know how to spell their forum name. New stars will be created in the fullness of time and hopefully, the other cachers will learn how to spell. Putting in a requ...

Ever thought of automating the process so you can have two days off per week  Maybe a check box on the profile somewhere (to opt-in) whereby it will automagically look at your log count and assign the stars accordingly. :P mm This has been suggested before and I believe is on the list of t...

Re: Stars

I have been noticing that a few cachers appear to have difficulty remembering how they spelt their cacher name. The upshot of this is the stars won't be updated. The ones that seem to have the most problem are those with sTrAngE capitalisation. If your request for stars appears to have been ignored...

For anybody with a stars request in. If it hasn't been actioned check your gca finds count. If its less than what you think it should be, then you know the reason. The count can't be confirmed with the groundspeak site until it returns.

Re: Boy! Was it hard to find the Stars Update Link!!!

I searched every page on the site. I searched my profile page. I searched the forum posts. I was about to post a DNF on the forum when I found it. Why is it where it is? Why is it not on a page where it can be found easily? How did you find it for your 50? It hasn't moved. Why is it there - bacause...

I know that Stargiver checks now on GCA for the current cache tallys... The check is done using GCA as it is quick, easy and (usually) includes all caches. If the count is less than that required for the star in question then the us site is queried. Navicache and Terracache finds can also be checke...

Star updates and user names

It appears that some people are a touch confused when it comes to filling in the form for star updates.<p>The forum name is the name you use <b>here</b>, the caching name is only required if you use a different one on gc.com or you use different capitalisation ( BIG and little letters for those with...

Re: Changing username?

Hi i!, I would like to change GA username from 'bungarra' to 'Team Bungarra' as I appear on groundspeak. I assume that this will link all those things missing from my profile at the moment? Your generous assistance will, as always, be admired and appreciated  Regards, Ron ... BTW, how does o...
