I think we are seeing a natural progression away. More people spend more time on Facebook than anywhere else. I admit I don't look in here every day myself.
As for enticing people back I don't know what will do that

Moveables are fair game, Tassie caches can go anywhere, as can NSW caches or Victorian ones. I like seeing caches move across the borders

With the 1km guideline this year it will be harder to replace at times. Last year I leapfrogged caches along a trail, can't do that this year
