You can set up a query using their approx lat/lon that only returns recommended caches that might better suit your needs. Ok I will do that too but I have now done a search using the WORD "Werribee" rather than the postcode of Werribee and it has now given me a list of caches in Werribee. I wanted ...

The top 4 listed for 3030 (Werribbe) are Burnside 1.11km, Deer Park 1.61km, Caroline Springs 1.75km , Ravenhall 2.01 which just doesnt make sense lol

Prob with my car GPS-Garmin 1490T not showing full details

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me .......... It's probably something I am doing wrong :oops: ........ but when I load Pocket Queries to the Car GPS (Garmin 1490T) it seems that if a cache has either TB's or GC's in it I get the details of them in pink but no listing of the actual cache details...

The only suggestion I have is that inadvertently you have uploaded the old original file. Check the dates on the files in the directory that the POILoader is looking at to make sure that the file is the correct one. I thought I had deleted the old one but I will double check that after tea :) I hav...

by default poi loader will ask you what you want to do ! when you select clear poi it will tell you that you must restart poi loader to add the newbies ! read and then click should take care of your worries ! Yeh I did that originally - cleared them then restarted and added the newbies but it didnt...

Thanks again Rhinogeo!! We have successfully uploaded the 500 closest caches following the exact instructions as per the tutorial! We will have a play around with it again later and re do the upload to not include the one's we have already found and our own but are keen to go off and use it right no...

The last update was December 2008 but it should work for new Nuvis http://geocaching.totaltechworld.com/ WOW - thanks for that!!! We will give that a go this arvo !!
