I've subsequently read the instructions....

Doing that I can search people via the existing platform of Google Profiles but it doesn't seem to give me what I imagine is full Google+ functionality

Are there still invitations to be had? I'd love to suss it out....

I'm informed we geocachers rated a mention on Triple J this afternoon - not sure of the context as I didn't hear it but no doubt some smart cookie out there will dig it up!

I was riding behind a guy on a roadbike yesterday wearing a backpack containing a very long fishing rod of all things!!! He was in full on lycra - hardly fishing attire! Eek... You are now outside the realms of my troubleshooting ability! No doubt someone wiser will weigh in with a comment!

I have a 550 and when I updated the software some time ago it caused an error which shut it down - a new update was released which apparently addressed the problem.

Could possibly be a similar case for you?? Good luck!

Overseas listings have been mentioned a couple of times but given they are listed on Geocaching 'Australia' an Australia-esque icon doesn't strike me as being that confusing....

You are looking at a Google Map and wonder why cache markers look so funny.... you quickly realise you are looking at nearby mechanics on the Yellow Pages website... Oops...
