Garmins will only send Garmin protocol out the USB port

You need to use the serial port if you want NMEA

If you only have USB on your PC then you need to use a USB/serial converter with a serial cable to get NMEA out (yes, I know this sounds odd)

Great joke

When you buy a unit in Australia some of the margin goes to supporting customers.

This company have not made a single cent out of you and have offered you a work around but you are abusing them because they are not jumping high enough.

Had a quick chat with my supplier and I hear that Magellan are now working on a "turn-by-turn" Australian street mapping solution on an SD card. I had asked in relation to the XL, but would expect that it will also work with eXplorist 400, 500 and 600 (like the topo map SD does). If I find out more...

He is trying a commercial processor to try to catch up which is why he has released T4A PRO at $50 t...

If you check OZtopo you will find that you can load both Tracks4Australia PRO and 20M Contours with those utilities as well so strickly speaking the GPSOZ statement is not correct. However, downloading the 49 segments in Tracks4Australia PRO and the 3254 segments in 20M Contours would not be straigh...

Easist way is to put the SD card into an SD reader/writer on the PC and write to that.
