Wow. 1600 in a month but congrats!
At the rate we've been going, that'd take us a decade!

Re: Munzees!
I came across these today for the first time - I think it's a great companion game to geocaching. I like the way that it's quick to find and quick to place them. Ideal for urban areas, a kind of quick fire, urban caching. I like the way you just scan the code and that's it logged, nice and easy, the...

Re: New caches placed with a phone
I am fairly sure that there are one or two new geocachers arount that are using a brick, a ouija board and a small plastic frog duct taped to a long stick to determine their co-ordinates. Ahhh! Now I realise where I've been going wrong all this time. #-o It's supposed to be a small plastic frog , n...

Re: New caches placed with a phone
You can also send them a message stating that a phone GPSr is not accurate enough for hiding a cache. But it *May* be accurate enough!! My experience at using an iPhone was absolute crap, but a cacher in my area placed a few with an iPhone that were within metres of where my Garmin said it should b...

Re: City2surf
Yes, Kirsten ran it, finished in 79mins. Very crowded, she found it impossible to run at the pace she wanted to with so many other people around. Next time she'll try to get a bib number in one of the earlier starting groups. I was waiting for her at the finish, but didnt get a chance to hunt down a...

Re: A real 'mystery' cache
You can create a new cache and get a GC number before it is finalised and sent to a reviewer for approval. It may be that's what's happened here, and it's not showing as published because it's not approved (and won't get approved if it's too close to the other cache) Of course that hasn't stopped th...

Re: Geocachestore in Australia still in existance?
I ordered some items from them on 5th Jan, and still havent received them. They said they would be on back order for a couple of weeks, but I've now been waiting 3 months. I can understand that they probably dont run this as a full time business, and that they are probably at the mercy of internatio...

I'll second that. Congratulations to the organising committee and all the volunteers involved. It's turning out to be an excellent event, and just wanted to note our thanks for all those who put in the hard yards. Well done!

Anyone have any info on caches in S.Korea?
I'm in South Korea for a couple more hours, and had planned to try to knock off a couple of caches before I fly home. Unfortunately with the GC website down, I cant get any! If by any remote chance, anyone has any info on any caches in or around Busan, I'd be greatly appreciative of the chance to tr...
