The Beni Challenge was the last time that Kate really enjoyed caching. We would love to come up again. We're not sure what is happening with work, but going by recent experience we'll be very lucky to both be able to get away.

Congratulations embi and J. My advice to you now is to elope (perhaps you could make it an event so there are some friends there). I have been involved in everything to do with planning our wedding. Kate says that she wants us to do it together (including making the decisions) and I know that itÂâ€...

I will be in the market for a new gps late this year or early next year when my father and I can no longer use the one we purchased jointly. I have looked at the GPSMAP60 on the web and it looks good. IÂ’m wondering what maps are available for it for Australia (both land and marine) and how they ...

Is the move permanent? For work? Good luck with everything if it is. It was good to meet you both at the Beni Trophy Challenge in Dubbo last summer.

All outdoor gear is expensive, but Kathmandu seems to me to be of lower quality than other brands and outside its sales often more expensive. I guess this means that I agree too!

Hang on, I've worked it out. I have an add blocking program that also blocks the referrer field in HTTP requests. I just tried turning it off and the message went through. Is there some other way of working this so that the set up is not reliant on that field? Alternatively, adding something ...

However if you use the link on the front page under "general chit chat" it works fine. It doesn't for me. I wonder why. Anyway I have posted on the another thread and then I found this one. Maybe people are watching this... Here is the error message I got... Hang on, I've worked it out...

I followed the link from the main forum index page and requested stars for 150+ caches (153) and received an unauthorised domain error. I remember reading about this somewhere else, but that was for when people were following the link from somewhere else.

Thanks,

Our GPS affects our magnetic compass. Not to the degree that EcoTeam got affected, but it causes you to approach a cache on a shallow arc rather than directly if not careful.

I too believe that a terrain rating of 1 star means that the cache is wheelchair accessible. This is probably why there are so many caches with one and a half stars for their rating.
