Re: Check boxes on state cache listings
I think we should refine what is being requested a little more to see whether or not this is a widely requested function or a narrow function. I want to avoid creating heaps of code that will require years of maintenance for only one or two folks. My apologies. I feel your pain! I was envisaging "j...

Check boxes on state cache listings
I vaguely recall a "future wishlist" in the wiki but cannot locate, so this suggestion may already be there. In order to update a GSAK database of GCA caches in my home state when new caches are published these must be added either via a query preset for "Hidden in last # days" (listings can be miss...

Re: Welcome to the Australian Lighthouse series
Another in Devonport that may (or may not) be worthy of inclusion - as it's technically a "leading light" rather than an official lighthouse. Then again the two leading lights at Low Head rate a mention. S41 10.595 E146 21.776

Re: Welcome to the Australian Lighthouse series
Damn! We visited several lighthouses on our recent trip to Vic but these new arrivals weren't on our radar. Got up close & personal. Inside & up top at Cape Otway. Even took pics of some of them - but without the requisite bod / tech gizmo included of course as they tend to ruin a decent photo. I ca...

Thanks again guys. Top service as always.

Re: KML import for My Route
Great news caughtatwork. Here's the steps to follow. I've retained the existing wording of the wiki where possible. To avoid any confusion I won't make the changes there until you're happy with the back end. ==Creating a kml file to load as your My Route== * Go to [http://maps.google.com.au Google M...

KML import for My Route
The instructions for creating a KML file in Google Maps to load into My Route listed at http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/My_Route I believe no longer work since GMaps was severely reworked last year. I have searched for a viable alternative to translate a route set in GMaps saved in KML format and...

In-vehicle tablet solution
I'm looking for some advice. For some years now (even way before caching) I've run an ASUS Windows Mobile PDA on the dashboard of our 4WD. This unit incorprates a GPSr chip & runs OziExplorer CE to give a moving map display in whatever detail I have maps for. In fact, before that I had a Compaq PDA ...

Re: Update coord logs
Thank you J&J. Perfect solution! That dialog pops up on every export yet I'd never spotted that option. Not only did I not have that box checked but somehow my default also had "include user notes in export" checked - though why that should ever be uploaded is a mystery as I put all sorts of "person...

Re: Update coord logs
I take your point & bow to your far greater knowledge. However: 1. I have been following the GPX from GSAK procedure at http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Uploading_logs for several years 2. I have never noted this behaviour in the past 3. I have checked several of my previous finds that have correc...

Corrected co-ords transferred from GSAK via GPX import
Cross-posted from another forum. My apologies if this is incorrect, but it's a possible bug of concern... I have just done a my finds import using the usual process I follow (tag all recently logged GC finds in GSAK, export as GPX & import via My Import). Normally this works as expected. Any solved ...

Re: Update coord logs
Same result here this morning for Tas. Most seem to be coord updates approved by CO. However, (& this is a bit more important), I have just done a my finds import using the usual process I follow (tag all recently logged GC finds in GSAK, export as GPX & import via My Import). Normally this works as...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Sorry C@W, CraigRat (on the ball as always) had already rectified via my original post with a cache clearance. Apologies again for being a total noob, cross-posting & causing mystified puzzlement all round.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
What has happened to the TAS & VIC dashboards? NSW etc look fine but down Mexico way & in the sub-Antarctic we're getting zero, nothing, no hides whatsoever for all tabs other than, strangely, "New" (GC, but not GCA). Clearly incorrect. Font is also larger on these nil tabs. Although it could concei...

Apologies - this was supposed to be in the "Report GCA Site issues here" thread.
