Since nobody else has access to this info (except Groundspeak if they look for it!), I'll have to blow my own trumpet on this suspicious occasion.

I published my 10,000th cache last night!

My first published note was 23FEB06, so that works out to just shy of 11 caches published per day.
(Of course, Sunday and Monday are much more popular than Wednesday and Thursday, but we centimillionaires can afford to take the longer view on such matters... )

When I started, I recalled all the details of each cache I published and I wondered how long this would go on before they either all ran together, or my head exploded. It turned out to be about a week. Now, I can look at a cache I published a month ago and not even recognise the name!

It's still fun, most days, and it's been great to see all the excellent, imaginative caches that have passed through my queue (and the others that accomanied them; I'll be discreet and won't suggest a ratio...)

I've offered a Volunteer Geocoin to the owners of Number 10,000 but I'll leave it as an exercise for the alert reader to discover who that is!

Now, to start on the next 10,000...

Will have to wait for the new caches to flow through to GCA to see who the lucky cacher was that got the 10000th approval. Assuming that you put something to celebrate it in the published log

Thanks for all the hard work and time taken out from actually going and finding the bloody things yourself! I think I will leave your first comment about the ratio of quality, imaginative ones to others alone, having gone looking for one the other day and just thinking why did they bother. I didn't even bother keeping looking.

Too many of those, but too many brilliant ones you have posted as well. And it isn't your job to judge if they are worthwhile, just if they fit the rules.

Thanks for your help and advice when I have asked it prior to thinking about placing one, always helpful and always willing to help.
