Victoria - 103kph in a 100 zone. Pay up or else. We have University calibrated instruments. Bah humbug.

And I was going to Alex's Towering Inferno too.

Latest I have heard is that ACT is following Victoria's lead and bringing their margin down to 3-4 kmh. Their response, you should be driving UNDER the speed limit. Oh well, I can see a rash of speeding geocars to log this cache. Can you have multiple finds. :D

That looks like a weapon of mass (swine) destruction. I'm calling the terrorist hotline 1800 123 400.

Speaking of Weapons of Mass Destruction, the car in the photo below was driving in front of me whilst on my way to do some caching the other day. So what you say? Well the number plate of the car was very interesting and seemed to be a form of protest against the war against terrorism. The number plate was WMD 404.

WMD= Weapons of Mass Destruction
404 = Not found

Sorry about the blurry photo but I was trying to drive at the time
:oops:

Loon I wonder if he/she knows the meaning. Love it.
When the 2 Dogs last went to Canberra there were radars all the way along from Golburn into Canberra. If you thought that just one in a town was enough.....no way you would see another 2-3 kms along the road. Thank goodness for our 2 way and the truck drivers giving us the gen. Those truckies have saved us more than once.

Which channel are those guys on? wouldnt mind listening in too..

Last weekend I got warned and warned some other people by flashing the high beams..
For some weird reason I hardly ever get cought speeding while MrsT does (121 in a 100 zone last chrismas long weekend :( $203) While I generally drive faster than here... Maybe I've got a 6th sense for the boys in blue..

Use the speed warning feature of Ozi Explorer. You can get it to play a sound file if you go above a certain speed. That way when you get booked for doing 20 over the limit you only have yourself to blame. :D

The truckies are on UHF ch 40 on the highways and 29 in the towns. If you have someone in your car that is a little sensative to some blue conversation then it is not the best to listen to but saving me from the radars...I don't care what I have to listen to. The best is when they are passing a good looking woman and they can see what she has had for breakfast. Funny as.

So when all you interstate cachers come to VIC in search of fresh caches and wonder why everyone else is driving so slowly, beware!
Thanks for the heads up....
Except Victoria native/s who moved to live interstate :wink:

How about setting up the virtual 'getting speed fine while geocaching' cache site for Australia and NZ only. The said cache was created in the euorpe and over 100 have been logged - it will grow bigger and bigger and turn into hundred pages. The reason is that I thought why not and let have it be created for Australia and NZ only? I would like to hear your comment and feedback before I go ahead and create it?

Good Luck Varuna,

I don't fancy you're chances of getting that cache approved under the new rules...

Yeah. Virtuals are hard enough to get approved. Locationless caches... :roll:
