Aloha,
We're coming to Sydney from Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, April 28th-May 6th, and are very excited about caching there! We'll be using our feet and mass-transit to explore. We'd appreciate any advice about "must-do" caches, cache-rich areas, or local caching events that might be going on during that time. Also, if any of you would like to meet up for some caching/drinks/food, we'd love to trade caching tales with you!
Thanks,
sillygirl & jrr (aka Diane & Judy)
We'll be visiting Sydney next month!

49 views and not one reply ... Oh well, I'm sure we'll manage to have a good time. Thanks anyway!
Hello! How rude of us.
This International section tended to just be a spam repository for a long time so not too many people look in it I guess.
Mix's list is a good place to start. It's sorted from close to the Sydney CBD. It's a list of caches which finders have enjoyed enough to "Recommend" them on www.geocaching.com.au
Cache rich areas... everywhere seems to have caches around. Couldn't really say what would be a good place to target on foot.
Maybe Olympic Park at Homebush. Or The Rocks and Sydney CBD.
If you have Google Earth, This feed is invaluable for caching: http://geocaching.com.au/caches/available.kml?
The only currently listed event in NSW is on the 5th of May in the Blue Mountains. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... wp=GC119M7
You can catch a train from Central Station to Wentworth Falls. The event isn't too far from the station. Here's a map: http://geocaching.com.au/cache/gc119m7.gmap
Hope you enjoy your trip!

Or as we say here in Hawaii, mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) Damo! We're planning to attend the event! Perhaps we will meet you then.
