watchlists
in a deperate attempt to get leek off our backs, we have _partially_ added watchlists to the site
at the moment watchlists don't do anything other than create a list, but at least you can start building a list and it can serve as a set of bookmarks to caches
given the number of requests in the secondary forum about who is watching caches, you can see who is watching a cache on the cache page
we plan to expand this to some kind of watchlist like on the secondary site. we haven't planned the exact nature of this yet, eg to conserve bandwdith, perhaps it might be a daily email of all your watched stuff instead of individual emails. your thoughts?
planned lists
we did this because it was easy to do while we were doing watchlists. basically the idea is that you can tag caches that you plan to do. if other people want to do the same cache, they might contact you and you can plan a joint trip.
we plan to add "people who plan to do this cache also plan to do..." to the search screen. this will allow everyone to organise group caching a lot easier than now

As with a lot of this development, are the watch lists intended just for .au only caches or will there be some replication of *huck-ptooey* gc.com? That is, once fully implemented, could I just watch .au and *huck-ptooey* groundspeak listed caches on gca and stop watching them on *huck-ptooey* gc.com?

we think we'll implement them like the daily updates where you get info on all caches
all going well, you could simply use this watchlist and not use the secondary site to watch caches, however the secondary site will always have a speed advantage because the feed between the sites is not instantaneous

as Magda used to say (or my revised version)
