log view icons bigger?

Post by mtrax » 21 February 17 7:28 am

A suggestions , could the wee little icons at the right side of each log entry be a bit bigger or perhaps redesign to make it easier to see and click.
and/or make common ones bigger eg view image/edit log etc..

Why? Is this a large screen or mobile device issue? Is this a mouse or finger issue? Is this a sight / blindness issue?

Our standard (for ill defined reasons) is 16x16. We have more than 100 icons across the site. If we redesign these we redesign everything and I am not willing to invest that time nor do I have the true skill to make that happen.

If someone out in the community would like to have a go, you can find all the images here. All of them need to be done, all of them need to be in the same design pattern, none should be copyright, all should have the ability to be used under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 deed.

Have at it, then the community can decide. Remember, please remember, that when changed their icons sizes there was a large uproar as the increase in height displayed less on the screen. We will also not proceed until all of the icons are created and available in the appropriate sizes.

the GC log page just as a link to the image at the bottom of the log text which could be a pop up slide show.

But do we want to copy what GC does? The question has been asked, the community are now welcome to respond with thoughts and ideas about what they would like see for that information.
