Re: GC Numbering
I think you mean GA10000 or GAA000. GC is the other mob

Re: GC Numbering
It'll probably be some loser who'll enter scores or hundreds of listings to get it.J_&_J wrote:Who will be the lucky hider of GA10000 ???
When one of the other "significant" numbers came up, the loser swore black and blue that his looong sequence of unused cache submissions were part of a series and nothing to do with the special number, no siree, never crossed his mind.
Luckily, that meant that he wasn't at all upset when the cache with _that_ number was too close to a school and was archived immediately. His "the GC number's not important but can I have it back puhleeeeeze" pleading was pure schadenfreude to read!

Re: GC Numbering
For the record: we have no plans to do anything insane with GA10000, so keep on doing what you are doing, business as usual!
(We are happy with how things are tracking anyhow)

Re: GC Numbering
It might break teh GCA app though... only allows 4 digit searches. Better get on to that Mtrax
Re: GC Numbering
Why not go to A000 til A999 then start on B's etc...
That will give you another 26000 caches before you need to add another digit.
