Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race
Still trying to find an angel to use. Been looking in shops around Perth but are yet to find anything
Hoping to find something so I can join the race still. Very quiet though, only saw 2 released on the 1st here in Perth!

I reckon garden centres are always the best bet. We didn't find many angels but we found the one we wanted!spatialriq wrote:Still trying to find an angel to use. Been looking in shops around Perth but are yet to find anything

Next year I propose "tortoises vs hares" - I saw that many garden tortoises it's not funny. Didn't see any hares/rabbits though so that's a challenge. Lots of budgies and owls still! And meerkats are the latest thing it seems.

CHRISTMAS SECTIONS OF THE $2.00 SHOPS HAVE SOME THAT COULD BE USEFUL

When I was adding the tag to my angels, I noticed the tag 'weepingangles' on the list . Some people might have mis-tagged their angels.rogerw3 wrote:The tag should be weepingangel (one word) that should show all the local angels.tronador wrote:Can everyone please add a tag to their angel, so its easier to make a query. At present my query only displays 4 caches.

Just noticed that my 2 angels aren't on the list at cachinggames. Have I forgotten to do something?

You need to logon to the caching games website, then click on "Create my Cache" & add the relevant caches so have the numbers handy.Toriaz wrote:Just noticed that my 2 angels aren't on the list at cachinggames. Have I forgotten to do something?

After a long trip from Lithgow 3 trains and 6 1/2 hours I was pleasantly surprised to be accosted by this strange looking character (Only kidding Mate) and the rest of the trip was done in a flash 15x moveables including 9x Angels and looking for 11 SSMs.Tuena wrote:They're gone.
It is a hot & humid day so met Roger at the station after initially checking the two earlier times. Saw this bloke heading it the right direction so asked if his name was Roger ........ A quick pickup from the park then a drive around Berry looking for SSMs. I now have Roger's map of SSMs in Berry so will see how many I can find. Good to meet you Roger.
Got back to the station and 15 minutes later caught the next train to Kiama and managed to get back to Lithgow at a civilized time not by the "Midnight Train" as expected.
Don't despair addicted cachers the Angels will be back in circulation tomorrow around Sydney.
Special thanks to tuena for the drive and good company not to forget the neat Pathtag!

'Dr. Livingstone, I presume?'
A classic meeting of two GCA geocaching notables . . . like Stanley and Livingstone in 'Darkest Africa' . . .Tuena wrote:They're gone.
