April Fools Day
Any pranks to report?
Groundspeak did one, in conjunction with a few reviewers who placed caches that appear to've been listed on 1APR00. (It didn't seem funny enough for me to bother joining in on this one...)
Go to hamstercaching.com, though, and see the latest from shop.geocaching.com Freddo's got his ticket to Seattle booked and is looking for local napalm suppliers on Craiglist!
Google Maps had a nice prank, too. You can select Satellite, Map or.... Treasure. Tharrr be treasure ahoy!
And "I'm feeling lucky" on the main page had some nice options, too.

Re: April Fools Day
I saw the 'Treasure' map mode on Google Maps. If you go to the equivalent of StreetView (click on the telescope) you get 'spyglass view' which shows everything through a black and white cracked looking lens view. Twas good fun.
Not sure if anyone found the 'treasure' on the maps though.

Re: April Fools Day
It would have looked something like this. It was Easter Monday after all.

Re: April Fools Day
Anyone been for a trip around the galaxy yet with the new groundspeak galaxy caches? If not, grab your towel, sonic screwdriver, favorite mixtape, and equip your geomobile with rocket power and have a squizz... if they are still working. Some of these are very clever.
