A quick trip up to Ballarat today secured us a canoe for a few months to do some of the water caches so G&MMelb would like to do some of the water caches around Docklands (JMelb will probably stay home so she doesnt have kittens watching them!!!)
Suggested Date: - Sat 13th Oct (but we're open to other dates)
Time: arvo - TBA Any advice re tides etc will be gratefully accepted!
Bring: Your own canoe/kayak AND lifejackets etc
Any takers? We'd love people who have done these caches before (or even the owners!) to come along too for the fun and advice!!!
GJMMelb (well actually, just G&MMelb) lol
Who wants to do the water caches around Docklands,Melbourne?
Re: Who wants to do the water caches around Docklands,Melbourne?
Potential starter, pending weather I guess. Would be fun.
Does there need to be any special items required to paddle in that area, lights, high vis gear, flag etc??
Cheers gordo

From reading logs, a very bright torch is a must!
Yeh unfortunately there's no way of knowing what the weather is going to be like this far in advance but we wanted to give people plenty of notice
Thanks gordo!
