Mechanics of DZ points allocation - GA4612 + Trigs

Post by Tuena » 17 May 14 6:58 pm

GA4612 found by a Minotaur 9/5 - 3.75 points allocated.

GA4612 found by a Phoenix 16/5 - 7.75 points allocated.

The DZ is controlled by Phoenix so thought that must be why more points allocated.

Checked Oberon which Minotaur controls but points allocated for 3 trigs exactly the same so confused. I found the 3 trigs & entered finds that night. Reference TP6575, TP6532, TP6656. The latter I increased the terrain to 2, previously 1 but after entering the find.

How does points allocation work in these examples?

Under the DZone color block, you'll see a up / down black arrow. http://geocaching.com.au/cache/GA4612 Give it a click. It will show you what DZPoints have been allocated to a cache and by whom.

Ah Ha! Now I understand what Nutwood did. Thanks for that.
