Made some inroads on the trip out to Dubbo last weekend as Zhaoy and I picked up a good number of trigs and spread out some movables

Re: Clan Phoenix Chat
I'm a beginner at the dragon zone stuff.
Is there anyway to extract data on zone controls so I can plan an attack on zones in my area? or so I have to to this manually?

Yeah pretty much have to check the GCA website for zone control, no way to extract it I am aware of!

Re: Clan Phoenix Chat
I made this:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/z8dduhsncowpy ... .xlsx?dl=0
Obviously a few of the columns are custom and couldn't come from the DB,but I was hoping there would be an easy way to update columns B to F and hopefully even a way to get column I, maybe with and without moveables?
I am only just starting to work out how to think 'strategically' about the game. It's a little have here is Vic, but I have a few ideas on how I might be able to make a difference. It will be challenging as both my usual caching buddies are on different teams.....

I wouldn't worry too much LouiseAnn....Cerberus pretty much rules the (DragonZone) world, so I would just accept it and move on. Of course if you want to jump ship to the better/superior side, we would welcome you aboard. Come on....you know you want to!!!!LouiseAnn wrote:I made this:

I can add counts of controlled caches on these pages. http://geocaching.com.au/zone/caches/2083/gcaLouiseAnn wrote:I made this:

Re: Clan Phoenix Chat
The page you linked to is the page I was getting the column I data from. I wanted a way to get all the control info in one page, with a number of caches in the zone. My idea being if there are a small number of caches in a zone it should be 'easy' to find them all and potentially change the control of the zone, if the difference between the clan in control and my own is smallish.caughtatwork wrote:I can add counts of controlled caches on these pages. http://geocaching.com.au/zone/caches/2083/gcaLouiseAnn wrote:I made this:

Re: Clan Phoenix Chat
All the control info for all zones or control info for a particular zone?
e.g. http://geocaching.com.au/dragonzone/zonecontrol
Then click on Victoria in the columns. It will tell you who controls what but it doesn't tell you how many caches there are in that zone.

yes, but you can't copy paste that out, or see all the zones easily in one view no matter who controls them. I used that page to create my sheet, but it involved a lot of reformatting to get it to look like the one I made.

Re: Clan Phoenix Chat
Tell me what you want.
e.g.
I want a page where (xxx) that contains (yyy) so I can (zzz).
As I'm not sure what it is you're trying to achieve it's tough to work out what to do.
i.e.
Are you looking for all zones which have fewer than 10 controlled caches for your clan, but is in danger of being over run and there are 6 x 2/2 caches that you can easily find?
