Is there a simple way to calculate the number of visitors to each cache in an area? I'm lazy and don't want to manually count each one.
Do the gpx files grab EVERY log?

As far as I know the gpx files only grab the last five logs

I think leek had some stats on this for NSW, but his data source may no longer be online (I think it used data from insidecorner.com)

Correct - the data source I was using is no longer current... As far as I know, there is no way of doing this now... (apart from directly scraping the gc.com site)...

What about if you save the GPX file individually from gc.com, after clicking the show all logs link? Does this show all the logs?

I just checked on this, and it is as Gunn Parker says; the GPX still only contains the lst 5 logs.

If you load all the gpx files from when a cache was placed into GSAK, telling it to save unlimited logs, you will eventually have all the logs.
A query on new caches and another on caches found in the last 8 days, both running once a week well give you everything from now.
You are on your own for the historical data.

I think (from my own experience) that the GPX files also contain your own logs (even if they were more than five logs ago). Still doesn't help with the historical data, unless you get everyone who logged it previously to send you their GPX files.
