Wow.
You'd have to plan this one out well in advance. 8)

I just hope the maths are good. I can't wait to see which crazy SOB Canberra cacher will get it first. A while back my money would have been on ThomasS, but I'm putting a lazy fiver on the Hill4. Go Hilly. :D Traineediplomat to come in a slow third.

Personally, I'm doing this on the deadly treadly (mtbikeroz style). :P

At least with this one, you know in advance how long it is. With Pilatus, that fact only slowly dawned...

Also, there's not the same requirement to hunt micros and decode fiendish cyphers.

Naaar, no comparison!

Congratulations to ThomasS for completing this first :D (the man is obsessed with claiming virgin caches  ).

There is a great image of his track, which doesn't give much away - expect that you travel on every main road in the ACT.

Well done Hilly on completing the cache. However, if you hadn't of cut corners I may have won on that bet I put on you at 3 to 1. Thomas was at 1 to 2.

So who will get third? Traineediplomat at 5 to 1 or The S's at even money. :?:

Where are Maleks, BundyB, 2 Leg Drive and Spindoc Bob? :(

mtbikeroz finally joins in the debate:
1 - Thanks swampgecko for approving it.......
2 - The TB is definately an unusual one. I have a picture of it, but the film is not yet developed. As for the history of the TB - see its description..........
3 - The GZ location offers stunning views of Canberra, the ACT & the mountains from a previously unconquered geocache mountain........
4 - I did it ALL on either the road bike or the MTB. I rode all but 50metres about 1km from GZ (short section of fire trail too rocky & steep), but I rode to GZ and all the rest.........It took a while.......
5 - I did enjoy riding ALL over Canberra setting it up. Probably 95% on bike paths, 3% on on-road bike lanes, 1% on fire trails & 1% on normal road........
6 - My congratulations to ThomasS. Also congrats to The Hill 4 - who tried to shortcut, but then had to backtrack :D . traineediplomat & The S's are lookin good too. ....Spindoc Bob - how's the riding of the bike going???.......
7 - don't worry - this is a one off - there will not be another one........
8 - Cooeee.

Sorry guys, I've claimed the bronze! This is a cache not to be missed, even though it takes the best part of a couple of days to complete! Glad to have a bit of a walk at the end after spending so long in the car :D
Top work MtBikerOz!
