In a completly off topic issue, The Sydney Morning Herald has seen fit to publish my article in the Heckler. Thought I'd take the opertunity to boast here.

Click here for the link to the article.

The topic - Slow walking pedestrians. Enjoy!

 I'm with you BigMickB.

 Create some fast lanes or banish the slow doddlers. And don't let them walk two (or more) abreast to block our paths.

Well done on a nicely put together piece!

Interesting read there Mick, oh and by the way you won't be seeing me on the train anymore as I have managed to get gainful employment closer to home.

And did you have to include me in that article?!??, I would "give up" my seat at Parramatta to ensure I could depart the train at Granville.... sad but true...

Never fear, Swampy. I'm sure we'll cross paths again somewhere. And just for the record, I never singled out any one person in particular. I prefer to discriminate equally!

Great read!

May I suggest a cattle prod for your commuting amusement? :D

Now, where's my stick, those damned kids are on my lawn again!

And they are playing loud music.... at least in my day music had a tune

I saw that article and couldn't have agreed more. I hope you didn't find me in that category!

Good article, however there is one flaw in your arguement...

When have you ever seen a slow driver in the left hand lane?

I used to be pretty tall and suffered the same problems with slow movers. I found that wearing ripple sole shoes gave the really slow movers at least a fifty/fifty chance!

Please don't visit Brisbane bigmickb. A walk down the Queen Street mall would make walking around Sydney seem a pleasure
