Anyone else having problems with premium membership

Post by djcache » 19 January 04 2:59 am

 My premium membership status has evaporated.
My money is still being paid to geocaching.com via paypal. Anyone else having problems??

I need to edit some pocket queries before I go away tuesday.

I have emailed them - how long do they usually take to fix problems.

You are the second person I have heard this from, I'll make a enquiry to Hydee and see what is happening.

gc.com Forums this has also been noted. There is nothing in the Reviewer forums, which is where I would like to hear about it first, So I can answer your questions. Maybe there has been a hiccup with the Pocket enquiries.... who knows?

I have noted the updates don't always come when scheduled.

And can be the same enquiry as it was 2 weeks ago :?
We had this for a while, even though we had checked everything thrice.
Ended up deleting them all and starting again and it seems to be better.
(I guess it is Beta version ) :P

Grrr, I hope my production release money doesn't run into any beta release problems.

I'm happy now. Heidi emailed me today and it's all fixed.

Someone mentioned about them not arriving on time. They aren't
operating on Aussie time and I've noticed often when logging
caches that you have to manually adjust the found date as it is one
day out of synch with ours at certain times.

Anyone know which time zone they do operate in?

I think it's Atlanta Georgia or something like that isnt it?
Should be able to find out off the homepage, in the About us column ?

I always set my post outs to be a day early and they arrive when i want.

Eg: Thursday post arrives Fri Morn here. :)

I know that - I have one scheduled for every day. it frequently misses a day or three.

I've sometimes wondered whether they get sent out when there are no new caches matching the criteria.

Good point - I have new caches in the last seven days as one. There are times when I have received the same caches for consecutive days.
I doubt it would be sent if there were no new caches placed for seven days.

Regarding the time-zone - I don't think that's the issue... My GPX files arrive at seemingly random times - sometimes in the afternoon (Sydney time) and sometimes early in the morning (which is probably a delayed one). This can make it appear that you haven't received one for a particular day... It would be nice if they were sent out at roughly the same time every day, but I guess the process is running in batch and you get yours whenever it reaches your request in the queue...

It is about time that this members feature came out of Beta though...

Leek Noticed:
Even though I have all NSW caches selected, a small number of interstate caches are included as well... SA, VIC, WA, QLD.
Mine are all in the correct state (at least the ones I checked ) but then if they are locationless they can be anywhere and everywhere, probably at the same time...
