Lowrance GPS

Hi all
Has anybody used or got a Lowrance 100, I have just bought a boat at the Melbourne boat show and they added this as a bonus. I have never heard of them. I havent taken delivery yet and wanted some input about reliability etc

I have Lowrance fishfinder and It hasn't failed me yet. I have a friend in Brisvages that has a Lowrance GPS and and have heard no complaints from him appart from lack of software updates, But I think his GPS was bought in the USA during a government sponsered shopping trip, and not a model that is available in good ol' Aussieland

I believe Lowrance used to market most of their handheld GPS as 'Eagle' brand but no longer sell small personal units. They have a reputable name in the marine and aviation navigation and communicatios fields.
