Photobucket now (since July) charging for 3rd party hosting

I only discovered this when someone was trying to solve a puzzle of mine which relied on an image hosted by Photobucket. Somewhere a few months ago they decided to charge a ridiculously high fee for third party hosting. I never got an email. So a few of my caches are looking a bit off with this image appearing instead.

I've moved the image for that puzzle to Imgur and it works but I've noticed other caches have background pics that don't work now.
