Saw this article this morning and thought some people on here may find it interesting.

Such a great thing.
I'm so pleased this has been set up, it's such a fitting way to remember someone who has done so much in his various fileds.

What a great legacy: helping new voices communicate science with some of the flair and passion that Darren brought to it.

I was at work when I first spotted the article, and had to take a break from work stuff for half an hour or so as I got quite emotional having known Darren so well. The article certainly sums up his passion for the things he did, and the obviously high esteem his work colleagues held him in - apart from how those of use who knew him through caching felt.
