This has been started by a science communicator colleague of mine. He used to work at Geoscience Australia, but now works for the Geological Society of America. Still spends six months a year in Canberra (the other in Colarado). His name is geoaware. Cunning bugger to get sponsorship. [:)]

It is a shame they are only considering virtuals, otherwise Freddo's recent "Thud!!" should be worthy of this rating.
