<rant> Just out of interest, how often do people see uploaded images they've taken show up on the GCA front page? I've put up a fair few over the years but I'm yet to see one of my own there ... and I'm on this site almost daily!! </rant>

It's totally random, and only updates every hour or day or something (can't remember off the top of my head).

There's 76741 photos in the gallery, yours WILL turn up sometime, just keep visiting

Probably due to the number of photos I have taken over the years I see one of mine on a very regular basis. Yours will appear at some time and probably at the time you are not looking at the page.

I've seen mine on both GC & GCA. But not in the last 5 or 6 years. I suppose as the database of photos increases the probability decreases.

I often used to see mine, probably not as often nowadays as has been noted with more photos the probability declines. I have seen at least two of mine up at once a couple of times though.
