Have you managed to avoid getting a Dropbox account so far?

Why?! It's a great way to transfer files between your various computers and smartphones, share files with friends, back up photos and such from your smartphone automatically, etc.

And now you can start off with an extra 500MB, in addition to the 2GB that you already get for free!
