Some Ideas perhaps?
The Irish Top 10 Challenge --> By State Doable?
The Irish County Challenge --> By State?
The North-West Challenge --> Ummm... this would be tough back home haha
The Fizzy Challenge
another idea would be the original thread topic, the Jasmer.
Love or Hate?! I was going to hold the ideas and use them as my own... but would rather find them instead if some one gets inspired
There might be a new challenge cache down Surfcoast (Vic) way soon

Over the weekend we did a group assault on
Obscured By Clouds which was brilliant in itself but also filled in August 2001. The only other cache in NSW with this month of placement is at The Rock (
http://coord.info/GC1637).
After leaving the rest of the team in the Blue Mtns we headed off out to Dunns Swamp and found the caches there then yesterday found
Hands on Rock which plugged the December 2001 gap.
So now I only lack June-Sept 2000 (picked up December 2000
Frying Pan last month) and February 2001 which can't be found in NSW. In Australia I can only see one in Victoria
Victorian High Country, one in Tasmania
North Tassie which I should have picked up when we were in Tassie two years ago, and three in SA:
Ewens Ponder,
The Lady Nelsons View and
Scott Creek Multiple which hasn't been found for a long time but luckily the CO of these three is still active.
Will be in SA in Sept-Oct and will be staying in that region (if I have any say in it!)
Also didn't get to
Auckland Stash due to poor planning last year so any trip to Auckland again for work will involve a side trip!

Darn it
Looking at my GSAK data base, there never were any caches listed in June, July, Aug & Sept 2000. (maybe I missed loading them before they were archived?) Is there a nearby country that has July/Aug/Sept

I don't know, but when you're going, can you invite me? I need those months too.

Auckland for June but you'll need to head to Belgium, Sweden and a few 'outback' USA states for the three others.
It would really be the sure sign of an obsessed geocacher to make special trips to find them!

Sure
Safety in numbers in those "redneck" states in the USA

BTW - I meant to ask before - if you do achieve finding a cache that has been published in each month since May 2000, what then? Where do you go to find the actual cache? In the USA?

If you search for caches with Jasmer in the title you get 37 matches. I don't know which one was the original. They probably all have different requirements.
We could come up with an Australian version which would allow for the four impossible months perhaps.

That's what I was thinking! Why not set one up and place it in Port Macquarie

Just back from SA where I managed to convince the muggles in the family to stay at Port Macdonnell which was only minutes away from two of the Feb 2001 caches. DNFed one then found the other, went back and found the first one the next day. I wasn't going anywhere without finding them!
So that's the Australia part completed. All I need is a cache for it...

Kind of a moot point isn't it

Yeah if I place it myself I can't find it! (doesn't stop some...
)

What would you like - a cache to celebrate every month available in Australia? I am sure we can place one under the Geocaching NSW banner somewhere if required.
