Logs from a Fun UK Cache Series

Post by Zalgariath » 25 February 11 11:40 am

Over here in the UK I can be rightly accused of already having a good whinge about pointless micros everywhere. So to balance out my whining when I stumbled across this series near my relos I went full hog and ended up with the following. You need to read them in order to make sense but the Numbering is funny. Cache #2 is actually the first log, Cache #1 the last.
Read the 1st Cache Page, then if you like my logs. Its pretty long, but enjoy! :D
Chapter 1: The Tunnels of DOOM!
Chapter 2: Running the Gauntlet
Chapter 3: Beyond Checkpoint Charlie
Chapter 4: Passing Death Bridge
Chapter 5: Escaping Wild Animals
Chapter 6: Reaching the Summit
Chapter 7: The Return Home

Sorry but the first cache page link goes to an unpublished cache?

But this made me laugh so hard reminds me of a famous cacher 'Tangles' who's logs always brought a smile. I hope to see more of this type of logging when you get back.

Can I assume you have totally confused the English cachers, who must be wondering what has landed on their shores (apart from the drop bear)?

Ooops, Fixed the Link...

As you will see if your read the 1st cache page the point of the series was to retell your tale in Baron Von Munchen style. There are some great stories from other cachers there too. The caches themselves were mostly soggy little film canisters but the walk was great and the locations well match the description of each cache... though to perhaps a somewhat less scary degree :-$ The final was tops. Good cache, well stocked, good location. This instantly bumped my Average log length from 76 to 80 words ... over 2000 logs  haha Great series.
