Slightly OT - Lunar Eclipse

There is a total lunar eclipse on Tuesday 28 August.

I've set up an event at Homebush on GC.com and a virtual event cache on GC.com.au (if you can't make it to Homebush).

Note: a total lunar eclipse is safe to watch and you don't
require any special equipment. A pair of binoculars is handy to
have, but not necessary. If you bring a camera along, make sure you
also bring a tripod.

The total eclipse begins at 7.52 pm (Sydney time), with the
greatest part of the eclipse at 8.37 pm.

Impressive program, has got me more interested in astronomy! (and it's free)

Hmm, if satellite can be believed, I may get some decent pictures of the last half. However, a look outside says no.
I'm taking a shot every 60 seconds via piggybacking the camera on the scope, but a quick look through the pictures has a lot of dark frames from the clouds. Occasionally they part long enough for a sort of clear shot. I was hoping to show my daughter, but she just sees the clouds...
