Best of... Geocaches?
Hi, we're heading to Cairns in early September. Hoping to buy a campervan and tour the country for a year. Does anybody know of a "best of the best" listing of Australian geocaches? It's hard to know which ones to download off geocaching.com.
Also I have a GPSMAP60, it has a basemap of North America but no Australia... can anyone help me out with getting a basemap of Australia?
Thanks,

Hi rusty_neebs.
If you are spending a year here, or even a week, you should join this forum and have a look inside.
Just click on the <a href="http://forum.geocaching.com.au/profile. ... egister link on the top right of this page.
http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopi ... 7328#37328 has the answer to your Australian map.
Geocaching Australia has a listing of caches in Australia, the ones in gold have been recommended by various finders. That will be a start. ( the site is currently being relocated so if what you see if not what you expect, put it down to the programmer's sense of humour)
