Maps

Post by Sherpa D » 24 June 05 2:36 pm

Hi all from NZ, I will be visiting Queensland in Sept for a few days and wonder if there was a source for maps for a Garmin 60cs that dont cost the earth, considering they would only be used for a short period of time.
All help apreciated :D

Headed to Sydney in September from TN with a 60cs. Purchased Mapsource MetroGuide Australia for 114.00 from etronics. Got the software on 2-day and already loaded it and it's working great.

Some info a little outdated - my hotel name has changed so took a moment to find it and add a new waypoint. But from there I was able to search for caches in the vicinity through geocaching.com and already have a list to work from.

Wasn't listed as compatible with CS but mainly because it was released pre-unit. I've had no trouble. Good luck!
