Hello everyone! I'm a student from Belgium and I have to translate Australian sentences into plain English, but I can't find all the Australian words in dictionnaries so I wonder if somebody could help me with the following words:
1) fanged and bikey in undermentioned sentence:
This arvo a blow-in fanged it and had a bingle with a bikey. An ambo was called immediately, but unfortunately he karked it.
2) boob tube:
All the blokes are squizzing and perving at her boob tube.
3) crim, cabbie, a bunch of fives
The crim got aggro, gave the cabbie a bunch of fives and got into a barney.
4) Bruce, busy as a one legged bloke, arse kicking contest
That Bruce is busy as a one legged bloke in an arse kicking contest
That's it. Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Marga

Re: Aussie slang
fanged it: accelerated hard.
bingle: motor accident
bikey (or bikie): motor cycle rider. What the Yanks call a "biker".

boob tube: a piece of female apparel that is basically a tube of material that is worn on the torso over the "boobs" (breasts).

crim: criminal
cabbie: taxi cab driver
a bunch of fives: punch; fist (from five fingers)

Bruce: a (supposedly) popular name for an Australian man
bloke: man (what the Yanks call a guy). Sadly, this one has fallen into disuse in favour of the American slang, guy

busy as a one legged bloke in an a**e kicking contest: do you really need clarifiction on this one? Imagine how a one-legged man could kick anyone in the behind. He'd be pretty busy trying to achieve it!

Cheers,
