Events in sept./Oct. 2008
Hi,
we'll visit Australia (Brisbane-Fraser Isl.-Brisbane-Sydney//Ayers Rock//Melbourne, Phillipp Isl., westwards to Adelaide from Sept. 10th up to Oct. 14th..
Are there any events planned that time anywhere in these regions? Perhaps we are near by...
Greetings from North Germany
Wolfgang and Marianne (McWanglFAM) with Christiane (Hoppetut).

28 September, there is an event on in Bundaberg, Qld (about an hours drive north of Maryborough- setting off point for Hervey Bay and Fraser Island) which I am trying to organise leave to attend. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... 5fa3897339 is the appropriate page.
There are a heap of caches within a 20km radius around Bundy.
Dont expect mega attendances at regional Australian events. But you should meet quite a few aussie characters.
Cheers
Bundy- (which is short for Bundaberg- which is where they make the famous Bundaberg Rum- which happens to be my favorite drink- of which I am having one right now)

There will probably be a pub lunch event around the middle of october in adelaide if your around there then. There was just one held yesterday, but if you get in contact with the event organiser (barra), we usually schedule them around international/interstate visitors, so that you have the opperunity to meet others, and usually someone will have some time off work in the afternoon, to go caching with you as well
The events are good fun and relaxed, and usually just involve a beer and a feed, and lots of catching up
