C geo not logging my finds
Hi all,
Have a small issue with the android app C geo.
Found a few caches today and logged them using c geo. Now I'm home it hasn't updated my Geocaching user ID. It said it did while I was caching but it hasn't. Does it save them somewhere else? Is there another step I need to do.
I have let my premium membership expire, would this be the problem?
Cheers

Re: C geo not logging my finds
I logged a couple from my tablet using c:geo over the holidays that weren't logged. My membership is up to date. It's happened before a few times. Logging from the c:geo app has proven very hit and miss for me.
I try to avoid it, it seemed easier at the time, but I then spent more time editing.

The SUBMIT and SAVE buttons are very close together.
Could you have just hit the wrong button?
I have never experienced this, but I've hit the wrong button a few times and noticed afterwards.

Hi gmj
I just had a look at the cgeo app. Yes the buttons are close together and I have accidently used the wrong button once out of the several that I use it that day.(made me be careful to only press the right button) Only way I can retest it again now is when I next find some caches. So out of curiosity if you hit the save button where does it save to and how can I access it. Cheers

Re: C geo not logging my finds
It gets saved into the phone somewhere in the c:geo folder structure, doesn't really matter.
Later, if you go back to that cache in c:geo, and press "Log Visit" it will reload the saved log.
Then you can edit it before submitting it, or save it again before you exit the cache.
