Using the black Eneloop Pro BK-3HCC 2450 mAh batteries seems to have sharpened up my Oregon 650 and
cured the long settling time and inaccuracy problems I'd been having.
Thanks for the tip Maccas.

Are these the Panasonic ones rather than the Sanyo ones? Do you have a good source for genuine batteries?gmj3191 wrote:Using the black Eneloop Pro BK-3HCC 2450 mAh batteries seems to have sharpened up my Oregon 650 and

Re: Garmin Oregon 650
Yes, they're Panasonic.
These are the ones I purchased and they seem fine.

In the ad they seem to mention Sanyo a few times, but the batteries themselves have Panasonic on them, for what it's worth.
And I can notice an improvement in the GPS and longer use.
