Hi there
I'm giving away my old Oregon 300 as a xmas present for a friend who's travelling South America for 2 months. Does anybody know where I can get free maps, which I can load onto it? I already got an OSM build taken from here: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OSM_ ... n/Download
Thanks and cheers
Philipp

I have also found it is easiest to download the GPS version of it (.img) instead of the computer version (.gmapi) that you then load into BaseCamp to load onto the GPS. Download what maps (tiles) you want to an .img file and load it onto the main directory of the GPS.caughtatwork wrote:http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/
Choose the tiles and follow your nose.
Fully routable too.
