Dual portable GPS and battery cradle

Post by nibbler » 16 May 11 1:08 pm

Hi

This post is really for information only . I have just received my Dual 03W cradle . Team conquest put me onto this device which I think is really quite good. I am an on again off again cacher ( and currently use a a garmin oregon 300 ..who knows probably will sell this baby ) so this device really ticks all the boxes for me which are

> I can load at least 95% all of the caches for SA on the device under one folder
> the accuracy is just as good as the garmin oregon 300
> most of the apps are free
> easy to view screen in full sunlight - the garmin drove me mad
> easy to use
> now only have one device - ipod touch for music and geocaching

Now the cost ,with the Aussie dollar being strong I got this with delivery for $143.00

If you are interested this site gives you info on the device http://www.gpscradle.dualav.com/
I purchased from http://www.provantage.com

Anyway I thought this might help others who want a device that is cheap and can possible utilise an ipod toch if they have one

Cheers
