I'm sure none of the beta testers would be indiscreet enough to tell you about the 1.00RC release that's being tested now...jyetara wrote:Any updates on Groundspeak's geocaching app?
Re: Any Android Owners?
How does it compare with existing apps e. g. Cgeo

I wonder if the GCA support line is going to get queries/complaints about the Android app like we do for Groundspeaks iPhone app.....................

When I use the iphone app on my phone, do I get charged for the maps that are downloaded? How much does it cost each time I look for a geocache?
I can't get the app to work properly. I want my money back.
I'm sure CraigRat has some as well, but these queries came through to me from the link in the GCA shop. How do I use the geocache app without an iphone?

Re: Any Android Owners?
Geobeagle and GeoHunter support GPX files from multiple sites, including GCA, Terracaching, Navicache and the OpenCaching network.
I've worked with the GeoHunter guys to get improved support of GCA caches, and I believe some of that has ended up in GeoBeagle too.

c:geo is the best app out there IMHO.
The developer has put alot of work into it, and I have not had a crash in months. You get a update almost every week.
