As always, the rankings are based on the number of times each review has been read here on GPS Tracklog, which is usually a pretty good indicator of the overall GPS market.

What about devices that aren't GPS specific, I wonder how many phones were sold with GPS functionality...

GPS nav devices too for that matter...

You have to anchor your boat somehow.........

I was suprised the Forerunner was #2, but then again, I can't fathom a use for a GPS outside of caching

Most people I know with GPS units use them to mark their fav fishing spots etc

actually i know 3 cachers that purchased gps's for specifically for fishing before discovering caching

I actually bought my GPS for mountain biking, but living in the UK at the time, the weather didn't permit much cycling so I started caching instead.
Now my GPS hardly ever sees the bike!
I have a Garmin Edge 205... if anyone was wondering.
