Pesky! wrote:if you have the toppoview. or LPI CD # 4 ( mostly Sydney and surrounds)

then the .map and other files are already set up for you, its just a matter of "importing" the data to your version of OZi.

I can serve the ecw files ( that correspond to the JPGs and .maps)
for those so inclined to leech my ftp site.
As Webguy said "when its up and running" ( cheesy grin) :D
I went geocaching today ,and shutdown my pc, sorry !
it will be online tonight all night ,and all day tomorrow.
How do you import into the files into Ozi?
I have the LPI #4 files.

Can Ozi import the .SID files directly or do I still need the JPGs and manually calibrating them?

Thanks Pesky, will try it.
Last I looked a long time ago, Ozi did not have .SID capability.
Didn't know it could read the map files from the LPI CD either.

You can probably download a .zip of the appropriate .map files to save you needing to import all the images. I think there is a link from the Ozi site, or failing that a link somewhere on www.gpsoz.com.au.
